What is this worth on your store?
What Quira does conservative
These lifts are relative to your current numbers, not added as percentage points. Same for conversion and average order.
Rough numbers are fine. This is a directional estimate, not a quote. Every assumption behind the math is published below.
What this number is, and what it isn't
-
It's an estimate built on averages.
Your catalog, your customers, and your question mix will move it in either direction. Two stores with identical traffic can land in very different places.
-
It doesn't include everything.
Some real effects are hard to model honestly and we've left them out rather than inflate the number: fewer returns from better pre-purchase advice, repeat purchases from customers who got a fast answer, and the value of your own time back.
-
It assumes you connect your policies.
A store that connects its shipping, returns, and sizing documentation gets meaningfully better resolution than one that connects nothing. The calculator assumes you do the setup.
-
The only number that matters is yours.
Run the free month and measure it on your own store. This calculator exists to tell you whether that's worth ten minutes of setup — nothing more.
Three separate effects, often confused with each other
-
Cost avoided
Conversations resolved without a person. Straightforward to measure and the effect most calculators show. Also the smallest of the three for most growing stores.
-
Revenue captured
The shopper who asks a question before checkout and gets an answer instead of a contact form. Harder to measure, usually larger. This is the whole reason QUIRA is framed as a sales agent rather than a support tool.
-
Coverage gained
Questions answered at 2am, on Sunday, and in a language you don't staff for. Doesn't show up cleanly in any spreadsheet, and merchants who've had it for a month name it as the thing they'd miss most.
Our math, published
Every default the calculator uses, with the source attached.
| Assumption | Value used | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution rate without human handoff | 77% | QUIRA beta: 1,600+ conversations, one live store, first month. Used on this site as context — this calculator does not take resolution rate as an input. |
| Conversations per order | Not used | The calculator does not model ticket volume. It estimates revenue and AOV lift only. |
| Time per manually handled conversation | Not used | Cost avoided is explained below the calculator but is not an input. |
| Support cost per hour | Not used | No hours or hourly-rate field. Support-cost savings are not in the output. |
| Conversion lift (default slider) | 8% | Not from the beta. Editable default. Move the slider to 0 if you do not want an unsourced lift in the estimate. |
| Average order lift (default slider) | 3% | Not from the beta. Models upsell and add-ons. Editable, not a guarantee. |
| Plan cost used in the example | $200 / month | Approximate 1,500-conversation plan. Replace with your actual plan on Pricing. |

Estimates are estimates
The calculator gives you a direction. A free month on your own store gives you the answer. Want us to run these numbers with you against your actual catalog? That's most of what a demo is.
